I am a self-taught visual artist whose work is driven primarily by emotion and the therapeutic nature of creative expression.
As human beings, our lives are in constant flux and I seek to capture those in-between moments when time stands still and feelings cannot be ignored. I want these fleeting and intangible sensations to endure.
Struggling to express a voice that is authentically my own, I believe in the transformative power of art, both emotionally and mentally. As someone who struggles with mental illness, I’m a strong advocate for art as therapy and I want to inspire others dealing with their own hurdles to express themselves creatively, to share their voice without fear of judgment, and to ultimately heal whatever has been wounded.
